Orders

Placing an order

You can place your orders (online, over the phone and in person at our store). Once orders are placed, it cannot be cancelled.

1. Online

Our website is desktop, mobile and tab friendly. You can filter your search through many choices to make it easy for you. Add your items to the basket and revise your order before you check out. You will be able to remove any item or amend the quantity from your basket before you confirm and check out.

2. In store

Our store is in London, 208 Essex Road, N1 3AP. We highly recommend visiting our store to come and feel your flooring. Colours of flooring might differ from online, so what you see from behind your screen is not what you will get, so please bear this in mind.

3. Telephone

Call 0208 616 0508 and one of our advisors will offer advice, answer your questions, and take your order when you’re ready.

Delays & out of stock orders

We try as much as we can to manage our suppliers stock inventory, but sometimes certain ranges can be discontinued or out of stock. If this would be a case for a range you have ordered, we will ask you to re-select an alternative from available ranges and if this doesn’t work for you, we’re of course happy to refund you.

Useful Tip

Once you have placed your order, you can track its progress by contacting the store during opening hours. We’ll send you an order confirmation via email with your order number, the items, and services you’ve purchased. Please keep your order number safe and accessible for any follow up or future query.

Site Visits

1. Estimate

Book an estimate online or by calling us, and our team will be happy to arrange a visit to your site. Our flooring experts will measure and inspect your floor. Unforeseen conditions for example, sub floor or other constructional issues will be remarked, if possible, otherwise further inspections will be required and additional charges will occur if extra works are needed.

2. Measurements

Floor direct team will do their best to minimize any waste of flooring ordered and will liable and responsible for quotes that are measured by their team only. All measurements will have a 10cm extra for carpets and vinyl flooring and a 10% extra for laminate, wood, engineered wood and LVT.

Useful Tip

Site visits is a free service conditioned that the client post code is within 2 miles from our post code (N13AP). Client will be liable for congestion charge and parking fees if applicable.

Delivery

Any placed order will be dispatched to your site within 3-10 working days. For supply only orders, the material will be delivered by kerb. Supply and fit services, the material will be delivered to site, please read our delivery terms for more information.

Payments

Floor direct accepts major credit cards and BACS payments. Payment is taken at the time you place your order. Fitting, uplift and dispose charges are paid directly to the independent third-party fitter on the day of fitting.
