This locks them into position and that means that the floor surface is totally waterproof, which is exactly what you want in a kitchen or bathroom.
So, you have floor surface that looks like wood in your kitchen, for instance, and yet cannot be damaged when you spill things on it. (Note we said “when”, not “if”. At some time or another, there are always going to be spills in the kitchen!).
Luxury vinyl flooring for the bathroom is also a perfect choice for the same reason: it’s waterproof, although not so likely to suffer from spills.
However, another big advantage in the bathroom – or for that matter any other room – is that you can use luxury vinyl flooring with underfloor heating. Unlike other types of floor surface, luxury vinyl will expand and contract as the floor heats and cools.
Yet another advantage of luxury vinyl flooring is that it is very quick and easy to lay. Because the tiles click together, they can be laid directly on top of an underlay without needing to be glued down. So, it follows that there is a cost saving there in the number of man hours required to install it.
